Twelve questions tell you if a land seller is real. Most buyers ask about two of them. What type of deed do I get? Not "a deed." The type. A warranty deed and a limited warranty deed are not the same promise. If I miss payments, can you come after me personally, or only the land? Get that answer in writing. Is there a balloon payment? A plan that ends in one big lump is not a plan. The other nine are on the free list. Address is on screen.
